So, not photo related, but hell, I figure some of you guys must fly a fair amount so I'll see what I get.

Long story short, I'm a Security Officer for a security company (bouncer, doorman, bodyguard, we do it all) and this May my boss and I are flying down to New Orleans to work security during Mardi Gras.

My concern about the flight is this... I'm a big boy, 6'4" and around 375lbs. I'll just come out and say it, will I fit in a coach plane seat? The last time I flew I was only probally 6' and probally 275lbs (freshman year of High School). Am I going to need to buy two seats? Is first class that much more room? There seems to be quite a bit more traveling in my future (Sturgis, Miami, NYC, Detroit, Chichago, ect) so I'm kinda wondering how this will turn out!

Pic of me for reference, keep it in your pants you guys... :naughty:

Cliffs: I'm fucking huge, will I fit in the plane?

depends on where you're at currently (how long is the flight?), how much more $$ first class will cost you, and what kind of planes will you be flying on.

i'd say at least try and get exit row if you can. prepare to sit with your arms folded regardless, though. ;)

I'm 6'4" 195 and pretty miserable when I fly coach in terms of legroom. I'm sure you could fit but you probably wouldn't be comfortable.

Like others have said, try getting an exit row or maybe just upgrading to business class.

Hehe you'll probably end up in an Embraer RJ145 and will have to crawl to your seat.

    Ill put it this way.

You probably should buy two seats.
However, Ive sat next to people as large as you before on long flights. Its doable.
Im not sure how big first class seats are.

Please dont thing anything I said is being mean.

No. You'll fit perfectly in first class though. My hips are about 40 in and I have about an extra 5 in on each side in a first class seat. Hope that helps.

lol yeah, I've not been on a passenger jet in a long time, but I've not really grown too much. I would agree with Stemby. E-exit ftw.

I have trouble getting keeping my knees from grinding off of the back of the seat in front of me. I'm 6'3" and about 200lbs right now. :o No trouble in the actual seat though.

Yeah, no shit, just thought of that. Wonder what the hell I'm going down there for then anyway? Probably a bike show of some sorts. My boss/partner (no homo) is head of security for the biggest biker bar in the world and runs their shows, so that's probably it.
