Do any of you do this first thing in the morning? They changed my hours at work giving me more time in the AM. Anyone see lower growth from doing it in the AM? I'm probably going to do it anyways. Just seeing if anyone else is already doing it....

It's fine as long as you wait an hour after waking up before you hit the weights

I do it at ~5:30 am depending on how fast I can drag myself out of bed. Straight out of bed, to the bathroom for the morning piss, then to the gym. I'm not waking up at 4:30 so I can wait arround for an hour before I go like Ceaze recomends.

I say to wait for an hour because in your first hour of being out of bed you have a substantially higher risk of herniating a disc

That because your spine is streached because of the lack of gravity? I'll make sure I do deads last tomorrow morning then. That'll be ~an hr after I wake up.

it's because the discs are more hydrated when you first wake up

 I did not know that. I knew you were tallest when you woke up in the morning, but didn't know why. So am I more likely to herniate a disk doing squats or deads?:noes:

How can anyone workout in the morning? You only have one meal in you. I CAN'T lift without at least a days worth of eating behind me, plus a ~500-1000 calorie meal just before the gym. Doing so improves my strength a good 20% at least I'd estimate.
