when I am on the road, I usually just bring my m505. Coincidentally, I usually do any writing that I have, to while I am there. So I outline my work and get my ideas straight on the palm pilot. Then come home and finish up what has to be printed...

do u really know 300+ ppl??
anyway, if u use m500 for notes, do u print it out afterward or just have it on the palm to read?

well co-workers, supplyer contacts, friends, and school people, i would say i got 302 ppl ;)

i have documents to go 4, so i just have it sync with word xp and then print it off form there. the size is like a reg doc file. 30-100kb, depending on how big. it has a default 8mb card, and can go bigger. i think 128+.

I've got the ancient Palm Vx with 8mb of memory I use it for it's scheduling features as well as the address book, also I've been d/l PDF files on it so I can get some reading done. However I'm looking at geting a Pocket PC based PDA so I can make use of Streets and Trips 2003 with its maps also if you have a bluetooth enabled phone these pda's can be neat :big grin:

Cyberbullets: Try out Quickword IMO its much better than Docs to Go.

As for my Palm i have alot of games on there to pass the time and with Avantgo i can read the news, get directions to places and much much more. Keeps me organized as well. the only thing i dont like about my palm is the writing part mechanism is outa synch. i readjust it (dont know the terminology) but its accurate around the screen except near the letter read in, so i cant write in letters anymore.

anyone have experience on the pocket viewer line? theyre very cheap for the 2mb, and pretty cheap for the 4mb. it seems like it would be a good one to try to see if i would use one... but i might like to hang on to it for a while. any opinions?

    Heh. :bigthumb: Very cool.

I have an iPAQ, and I use it for Streets & Trips 65% of the time. Freaking great.

Also am in the stages of developing some software to use at work, in which case I will live, sleep, eat, and drink with my iPAQ in my hand.

A Friend of mine has the Casiopeio and he created Divx movies for it.. With the size of the screen that a PDA has you can fits movies on it very easily..

I was thinking about buying an IPAQ, or looking at one of the linux based ones..

    They are pretty pricey tho..
