Question for cingular reps...

    I've lost my cell phone and have insurance on it. Will I be able to pay the $50 and get a new phone even though I'm not able to upgrade now? Also, will I be able to get a different phone or will they make me stick with the same one. T720.

    Insurance claims are actually handled by an insurance company, not Cingular itself. If you are in fact eligible for insurance and have lost your phone, you will need to call them and pay them $50 and they will send you a similar (most likely the same) phone

    oh, and BTW it will be used and probably worse than your old phone, it will have a new battery though :hs:

    :wtc: That really sucks. I think I would be eligble for the insurance since I pay a monthly fee for it through cingular. :dunno:

    I just had my T720 replaced by Cingular (well their ins. carrier) they sent me a Motorola v180.

    the insurance will not effect your upgrade period. if any t720's are to be found you'll get that one, if not you'll get one close to it

    Meh...I might as well buy one online and get a new sim card. At least I would get a phone I like. :hs:

    just call and see what they offer to replace it with. you never know until you ask

    Yeah, true. I'll do that and see what they say. I hope it's something better than what I had.
