sometimes. my G19 carries 15rds, so I am still trying to decide if I should bother. If I have room in a jacket or whatever pants I'm wearing, then I will

Usually 1 extra mag, sometimes more depending on what I'm doing.

Almost always have 1 spare mag. It's not because I'm likely to need the round count, but in the event of a malfunction it's usually magazine related. Plus doing a tap rack or 2 can cause you to loose several rounds out of the gun.

I always carry at least 1 extra magazine or speed loader. I usually carry 2.

I for one think that anyone that cant differentaite between magazines and clips and between ammunition/rounds and bullets isnt smart enough to own or operate a firearm

  13. Oh yeah and if you do carry an extra MAGAZINE do you carry it in some type of holder? Or just like JackNasty said in your pocket or coat or something if you have the extra room?

  14. I know jack shit about guns. I don't know if you read my first post but it was a question not a statement, but you can sit back on your high horse and make fun of me with Accord. Everyone else was nice enough to point out my mistake without being a douche.

    Thanks everyone.

Usually carry extra mag(s) in a pocket.

  16. Is that weird? I hate carrying my keys and knife in my pocket let alone something as heavy as a magazine.

Have you ever had it fall out and have to explain it to someone? Hahahah that would be awkward.

If I'm belt carrying then I've got a single weak side mag holder. Wild Bill's makes some nice and cheap pouches, although the comptact Kydex I got with my comptac holster works nicely. When I'm pocket carrying my P32, I've got a Nemisis pocket mag holster for the weak side pocket. I've also modified it to hold one of my backup lights.

I carry a spare mag. Not because i think i'll need the ammo, but because a faulty mag is the most common cause of failures/stoppages in autoloading pistols...

Nope... in my back pocket, right next to my wallet... And I practice stoppage/reload drills with it there too.

I usually have a dual mag holder on my belt. If I'm just carrying a single mag, I'll carry it in my pocket usually.

You don't carry a spare mag because "you'll need the rounds"... if that's the case, I'd always carry my 33rnd mags. You carry a spare because... just see my earlier post.

I carry a strip loader since i carry a sp101 5 shot revolver. I dropped it out at the store once right in front of the cop doing guard duty, he didnt even give me a second look when i picked it up and said i hate when that happens.

Usually 1 extra (15 round) MAG depending on what part of town i'm going to.

  25. you guys need to relax with the hate for the noobs who dont know the difference between clips and mags.. the last thing we want to do is alienate potential new gun owners.. be nice, and polite, and inform them of the truth.
