question for all mac users

    how do you save a video that only streams. I'ts an .mov file and I've tried everything I could think of and I'm stumped. I have quicktime Pro.

    That...only streams? When you export tell it to use hinted streaming? Not quite sure what you're asking :hs:
    Do you want it such that you can't download it? Not sure that's really possible - even if you embed in flash or something it's easy to grab.

    open said link in Safari
    open the Activity window (Window > Activity)
    watch what's going on and find the really large download file
    copy that link
    open the Download window (Window > Download)
    and paste

    it'll save to your desktop, woprks for streaming videos as well (ie: youtube/break/matacafe)

    or.... you can just option+doubleclick the line that has the .mov extension in it.

    (but you must wait for entire video to finish playing first)

    Excellent, for a year now I was putting links into my PowerPoint presentations to websites... This works great...
