I'm taking a class (not for school) and we're going to shoot black and white photos then develop (right word? whatever) them in the darkroom. I have my mom's old Pentax K1000 and I'm excited to use it. anyways...

What film should I use, brand wise? I really have NO idea when it comes to flim. Any sugesstions would be awesome.

Tri-X at ASA speed 400 is a good choice for all around use however it is a bit grainy. If you plan on shooting in bright sun I'd suggest a slower film like Plus X or Ilford.
