I was taking a few pics as I remodeled my bathroom and the white balance looks completely off. I set the correct exposure using manual mode, iso 800, wb set to tungsten (room was lit by incandescent bulbs). The walls are supposed to be white why does everything look yellowish? what am I doing wrong with white balance?

try setting your WB to flourescent and see if that works. If not, just manually adjust your WB with the slider until the walls are white... or, use a grey card...
