Usually, when you close an application or window, it should normally open in the same place when you open it again, right? Well, the GAIM (messenger program) message window which has convos in it never opens in the place i want it to. I have two monitors, and my GAIM is on the left monitor, and I want it to be in a certain place when somebody messages me, but it always opens on my primary monitor. My GAIM buddy list is on my left monitor and always opens there, just not the messageing window when somebody msg me.

There should be option in your dual-monitor drivers that you can select properties for each individual application ie where to open and such.

err thats not what I meant..

Usually when you run a dual display system off a single video card, the manufacturer supplies you with drivers and a control panel that lets you customize your display to be most sufficient for you.

If you hold down CTRL and click X button it will remember where it's closed and open up in the same place.
