Are there any programs that will make webspace on appear on my computer as a drive so I can save and access? (like an "e" drive).

I know there are other options to use webspace as storage but I would like a more streamlined approach.

is webspace some kinda site or are you just talking about "webspace" as in space you have on a server for your website?

There are ftp/sftp programs out there that let you connect up an ftp/sftp account and have it appear as a drive.

very slow. the protocols used to xfer data to servers are generally webdav, ftp, etc... and they are simply not designed for this type of use.

I am giong to assume your using Windowz...

    You have a few options...
You can map your FTP site as a drive on Windows. Just follow the instructions here..
    http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/182308-48-site-windows-explorer-drive

There is also the option of using a gmail drive and gmail account.
Gmail offers 2+gig of space and using the gdrive applet, it will show up as an attached drive.

its not the "true" g-drive as google has one under development, but it works none the less.
