Hey guys, quick question....I'd like to update my Radeon 9700 Pro's driver to the latest version. I've got the download off of the website, and it tells me to uninstall the previous driver, restart, then install the new one. How do I do that in Windows XP and if I uninstall the old driver, won't I have issues seeing anything when I restart the computer?

I used to have a GeForce...that was a bit less complicated. Thanks for the the help!

    Add/Remove Programs
    Uninstall the ATI Display Driver

    reboot

    install the new ones

it's pretty much the same way for nvidia drivers.

you shouldnt have to uninstall it in windows xp. That defeats the purpose of the rollback feature on the drivers.
