on my pc desktop i've got iTunes reading all of my mp3's. if i transfer them to my powerbook will i have to go back in and rename them in iTunes like I initially had to do on my pc or is there a file I can put on my powerbook that will fix the ones that i've changed?

    for example...

in my mp3 folder the file name might be R. Kelly - Bump & Grind, but in iTunes it initially read the id tag as Pornstar - Bump & Grind until i changed the name to R. Kelly

do i have to go through my gigs worth and rename them all over again? :hs:

if you used iTunes to modify the ID3 tag, it will save those changes to teh mp3 file. So the filenames won't change, and any changes you made to the tags should stay corrected too.

Just copy your playlists over with the music, they should be in ~Music/iTunes/
