if i buy software for my current mac, will that same software work on the intel macs with at least the same performance if the hardware specs are comparable? is it going to be like running Windows on either Intel or AMD computers, or will the incompatabilities be like the inability to run Windows on a PowerPC computer?

    1) The mactel developer boxes had 3.6 ghz p4's and I'm assuming they ran powerpc app's on them with the help of a program called "rosetta". People with these machines have reported that they seem pretty fast, faster, than a dual 2 ghz powermac.

    2) There have been some issues with running windows on a mac, mainly with video drivers and such, but I think they will be able to make it work in the near future.
