So I got this problem and its more of a piss off than anything. Everytime I open up "my Documents" in windows explorer, I get an error and the program has to close, yadda yadda yadda.......

I'm running XP home with an Athlon 2.1 ghz CPU and 512 mb ram.
I tracked the root of the problem to a file in the "temp" folder in local settings.

    Seen here:

Every time I delete it, it comes back with a different file name. I'm not used to the whole virus thing because I never get them. How do I get it to stop these error reports? Any info you guys could give me would be fantastic! :)

Try use Ad-aware and Spybot. Those files might belong to some spyware that's running.
Also get AVG anti-virus, there is a free version, and let it do a system scan as well.
