Where do sports sites such as fantasy sports site get their up to date info on schedules and scores? I was looking on NFL.com, MLB.com and the like to see if they provide any API's I can hook into, but I do not see any. Do other sites just hook into something updated by a bigger site, or do they have someone updating on the regular?

I am going to email nfl.com, mlb.com and others to see if they offer anything, but I wanted to ask you guys first to see if anyone knew of anything.

interesting, but I don't think that is quite what I am looking for. That looks to be more about historical data and not daily up to date scores and schedules.

yes, but i get the impression from that site and other research that they are more of statistics oriented and not just schedules and scores.

If you make any progress on this, please let me know.. I run a network of football sites, and could definitely use something like this for 'em, and I'd make it worth your while. :)
