I know that you can ship a firearm to yourself across state lines. UPS ect overnight.

However is it possible for someone else to ship a firearm that you own to you?

I.E. you go out of town for an extended period of time and wish you had brought a gun for whatever reason (hunting, carry, ect)

Or would you have to go through an FFL in that case?

    yeah I got that :bigthumb:

what I really need cleared up, is this if I am in Maine and want something from Florida (that I already own) can I have a friend take it to the appropriate shipping location and ship it to me? Or will they be required to ship it to themselves? Or will they need some kind of proof that they person they are shipping it to is the lawful owner of the gun.

If someone were receiving or shipping my gun for me I'd address it something like

    Soy Bomb
    C/O My Bitch
    123 Pwnage St.

I know that had crossed my mind. Just wanted to see if there was a way to stay within the letter of the law.

    Probably not though.
