If taking a run when you wake up /

When would be best to eat? (Before run or after)
What should you eat/Drink? (Shake or food or nothing?)

I eat something lite like a half a banana or an orange b-4 I run. I run with a water bottle and sip water while I am racking up miles. I do drink a little bit b-4 but not too much you will get sick if you do. When I get back from my run I eat another fruit or veggie.

Depends, are you trying to run as AM cardio to cut? Are you trying to improve in running to compete in 5 or 10k's? How long do you plan to run for?

Have a protein shake to kill the starvation from your sleep at least. Then the rest really depends on your goals and how much time you have to get your running accomplished before you go to work or school.

    .

Eat something light for energy before even if its just drinking a little gatorade or something, but dont have a full meal until afterwords.

and obviously its a personal preference, if you can wake up and have an awesome run, then great. Go for it. But most people are going to want a little hydration and sugar in them, and its fucking stupid to forgo it because you might use a little more fat.
