Question about RAM

    i think my computer needs DDR SDRAM, and has this in it

    does that mean that i cant buy DDR DIMM ram to upgrade my computer??

    Well first you need to find out exactly what you have (get a system information program like "cpuz"). The ram that you buy has to be compatible with your current one (I am assumming you have 2 slots, and want to stick another RAM stick in?) compatible as in, it has to be the same frequency (Mhz), and type (SD, RD, DDR, DDR2). If you are buying toally new ram, with discarding your old one, you can put any type of ram your motherboard supports (check motherboard manual).

    In other words, more information needed.
