Question about Protein and Green Tea (yes, i haved searched and looked at FAQ)

    I'm new to this, and want to start losing weight again. In addition to my diet and exercise, I want to know about these two supplements. I bought 2lb EAS Premium Whey Protein (chocolate) from Wal-mart and intend to mix it with skim milk. Is this protein any good? If not, what do you recommend? Also, I saw the green tea extract pills, but also saw green tea bags (lol) in the tea section. the Brew ones do not list chromium and those other ingredients. Is there a way I can get the benefits of green tea naturally, or is the pill supplement more practical/better?

    EAS makes decent stuff, not a big fan anymore though.

    I'd go with pill form, there've been a couple of decent posts about it recently.

    I wouldn't want chromium picolinate in my supplement.

    I like chromium... you could always get gtf niacin-bound chromium, or chromium polinicotinate

    thanks for the info guys. Etech, that description fits me, i think. I need to lose weight b/c i don't want to develop diabetes. So is green tea not an option? I just got me some CLA today, 100mg.

    i love green tea. There's a lot more benefits to it then most people think...it's SUPER!!

    The very real possibility of developing diabetes was one of the factors that got me to start losing weight.

    Do some research on metabolic syndrome

    I'm not a fan of CLA, do some research on it.

    You might want to look into cinnamon.

    Of course the best things to get right first are your diet and exercise.
