I have a HP laserjet 1020 connected to a PC through USB. I can print fine...except when trying to print from one program.

the program is called cabnetware, and if I try to print from that program my spooler service stops after the first page.

    any ideas?

That would be my first guess, I do not know anything about that application though. Is it pcl or ps only?

your printer uses " REt, HP FastRes 1200" for a printer control language. I have seen some applications that had to have either standard PCL or Post Script as their printer control langauge. I have never used the application that you are useing but that would be my guess. Contact hp suppport or your software vendor for support, they will know and be able to direct you in how to correct your issue,
