ok... so i work out on a routine now and i hit my calves on thursdays and i do a lot of calf excercies and i try to run on saturdays but i cant because my calf mucles begin to tense up and it eventually feels like a charley horse and i cant run anymore or even walk. so any reason for this? I drink alot of water so it cant be that my muscles arent getting enough water to them. I'm not overweight at all so wahts the reasoning for this?

Stretch your calves more. I think most people get this when they're just starting to jog/run, it usually goes away after a while.

are you running on your toes? you should be rolling from heal to toe when you run unless of course you're sprinting in which case you want to be on your toes.
