Ok, so im a bit confused, if gay marriage were made legal in the US, would that mean the catholic churches and all other churches would have to recognize it? Wouldn't it seem that if it was legal and a church denied you the right to marry that they would be violating constitutional rights? On the other hand, if they think being gay is wrong then wouldn't the US forcing them to marry gays be unconstitutional? :ugh: Im confused, someone explain how this would work...would it just be marriage in law and not recognized by any religions that choose not to recognize it?

You can get married outside of a church. Even now any church has the right to deny allowing a couple to get married. :dunno:
