Quick question hopefully. Ive set up a few random PHPbb an vbulletin forums and made minor customizations and patches. I am not a web ninja tho.

I always get the people who I put these up for, requests for customizations. Usually is simple: Background color, change buttons, etc..

Is it possible to 'nest' a forum within a cell of a table somehow? That way I could put the forum in the center cell for instance, then trim up the edges, top etc. cell by cell with custom images or colors while not really messing with the forum itself....

This is why most forum software has "skins" or "themes."

Yes I have used skins and themes but they typically require some sort of branding on the site. I just have a couple of particular 'can you do this' type people that always want things changed. However I did find a FAQ on how to do it, it just requires a particular .php right in the cell and it works fine.
