    Got a new computer and printer/scanner/fax/copier ...
The scanner allows me a choice of 'picture' or 'document' -- scanning as a document saves it as a .pdf
I've got a shitload of stuff to scan -- If I make it one big file can I break it down later? If I make a shitload of small files can I join them together?

It's a project for a website and I don't know how they want it (any file size limitations) and I'd like to group all the related stuff together but the information is scattered through several books.

If you scan a multi-page .pdf file you should be able to take certain pages out and add pages together considering you have the full version of Acrobat or a program to edit .pdf files.

Well I said 'considering' he had it... but there are also other programs that can edit .pdf's.
