whenever I plug in a mouse, it's like it has some sort of acceleration built in.

like if i move my mouse from the left side of the screen to the right, it will start off slow and then get faster, even though i'm moving the mouse at the same speed?

does that even make sense? :noes:

well, is there any way to turn this off?

I've tried 2 different mice and they both do it, so it makes me believe that this is a setting somewhere in the OS

    no, there's not :(

Ive done some searching on the interwebs and found out this is a common issue. I guess there are a few programs you can download to fix the problem, but none that will work for:
    a) my computer (too new)
    b) my mouse (bluetooth mouse)

    oh well :hsd:

I guess i'll just get used to it :o
