Ok, so Navy guys, when you are living off base and deploy for 3 months, how do you pay all of your bills? Water, Electricity, rent, and so forth?

I don't have someone living with me and in about 3 months i'll be stationed somewhere in which i'll be making my first deployment. And if I get King's Bay like I'm hoping, then i'll be living off-base so I was kinda wondering what to do.

Have someone you trust do it.

My father has a power of attorney for me and my check book and pays my bills for me.

I realize other branches deploy, and if you have any input I'd be glad to hear it. I just stated Navy because that's what I'm doing.

I have a power of attorney for my son. We set up as many bills as possible for online payment. For the bills we couldn't do online we had the billing address changed to my home address.

Power of Attorney. Call the company and somehow have them mail the bills to your mom or talk to the post office to have them forward all your mail to your mother.

you get teh bills sent to you or pay online.. of course all 3 of my deployments were cushy for the mid east being saudi saudi and qatar

the last one i was with the gf now wife so i just left her checks for my share of the rent and she would pay them
i didnt pay utils since i wasnt there and car payement was online

first deployment i was 19 so i just had all my mail forwarded

most of the time chris some places will forgive you if its late just give them a sob story about being overseas.. visa tried to rape me becuase i never got thier bills for 6 months and had all this buitl up intrest and late fees i got it all taken off when i got back home

Have the mailing address changed. It's easy to do.
I've changed my address 3 or 4 times in the last year.
