I was looking at Ceaze's vertical jump program (the excel file). I was a little confused on how the routine was supposed to be scheduled. Is the Phase 1(Q) supposed to be a like a day 1 and Phase 2 (H) supposed to be a like a day 2? How long is each phase supposed to last?

Word. Download Kelly Bagget's Vertical Jump Bible and get a specific routine from there based on your strengths.

not to bring a dead thread back, but there was something else i didn't understand. for the rep/set scheme for the kettlbell circuit it says 12,3,3,6,6 x 3. it that suppose to be 12 sets of 3 for the first week, 3 sets of 3 for the second, etc? or 12 sets of 3 followed by 3 sets of 3, etc? and what exactly is meant by the tempo?

In the Bible? Which program. The "novice" took me from touching rim to dunking in 9 weeks.

WTF? I just got this PM at the same time.

Anyway, I'm doing a program from the Vert Jump Bible, not Ceaze's excel file. I did do a couple weeks from jump.xls, however, and the way that it's typed by you doesn't look too familiar.

:eek3: Shit, how tall are you? What was your vert to begin with? I'm doing the Intermediate Reactive focused program. I just finished phase 1 (week4), but I haven't tested yet. I had ~28" standing vert after some heavy lifting and IIRC a week or so into the program.

I'm 6'5" and judt didn't have the explosiveness to do it because I row and don't build explosiveness that much. So I spent the first part of the summer on a 6 day Push/Pull program and did the plyos two times per week. My Vert just shot up, but I don't think its that normal.
