so it's been said that it usually takes around 2 weeks before you actually lose fat when in a calorie deficit, right? and the first 2 weeks or so would be water weight.

so i was wondering when in a calorie surplus, how long would it take for your body to change into an anabolic/muscle growing state? about the same time ? 2 weeks? tia

:dunno: I would think it would start pretty much right away. When you're in a calorie deficit it takes a while to dwindle away any surplus calories you have, and it takes a while for your body to adjust from storing calories, to calling on its reserve calories (muscle/fat.) You'd think that if all of a sudden your body is supplied with a surplus of calories, the calories are available to consume the minute they're pulled from the food you eat.
