I'm looking into getting a new subwoofer for my home theater, so what I want to know is when buying a subwoofer cable, is a cable that is labeled as a subwoofer cable really any differnt than any other type of rca cable? Is is made differently for bass somehow, or is it just the same as every other rca?

Same shit. Don't waste your money on expensive cables or different metal connections.

So basically you could use a "subwoofer" RCA for a video cable, and vice versa?

If you wanted to. The only thing special about subwoofer cables is they tend to be pretty long. You wouldnt want to use a 50 foot cable for video unless you had a projector.

True, I just have a ton of video cables and not enough audio cables atm, so this would be perfect.
