I'm also thinking about going this route in addition to my thoughts about being a Cavalry Scout. Does anyone here have experience in one of these jobs, or know smoeone who did? I'd like to find out how much math is involved with the second. Goarmy.com just said "An interest in using math"

If anyone is living on-base right now, would they mind speaking to their quartermaster or small arms repairer?

Even for the "math intensive" jobs, you rarely actually do any tough mathematical calculations.

My old manager at Subway(worst job ever) had that MOS until she hurt her knee. She told me all the time that I should pick it.

The more I think about this MOS, the more I think I would like it over Cav Scout. After I retire, would the skills learned here be very useful in civvie life?
