If anyone has done any modding for quake 3, did you run into problems getting it all set up? I've been able to compile the qagamex86.dll just fine, thought i can't get quake to recognize the changes i've made (all i did to test it was change the rocket velocity, classic). I've done the code3arena tutorial on it w/ the whereabouts of using the autoexec.bat and the VCVARS32.BAT from MSVC. I Installed quake, then the point release (32F) and then the source code (also 32F) and I have MSCV installed w/ a register of the environment variables (as recommended). I've got the dll in the right place (ex: c:\quake3\source\qagamex86.dll) and I am running the cmd line properly too (quake3.exe +set fs_game source +map q3dm1)

    :hammer:

i've also tried creating a qvm from the game.bat, which doesn't work either :dunno:

hmmm... I did some modding at one point, and had it working on my system fine. I'll take a look at my system when i get home.
