    Hey guys,
I have a BMW with metallic black paint.
    I have the following:

    ClayMagic clay bar
    Meg. NXT wax
    PC buffer
    Lake Country PC pads

This I the first black car Ive every owned and I have some questions.
I have read a lot of the threads in the forums, but Im a little confused with all the different combos available out there to use after claying the car. I was thinking about using Klasse AIO & Klasse Sealant Glaze, is there any other comparable combos?
How about pads for the PC?
I have LakeCounty but there not flat pads, more like cutting pads?
Can I top the NXT wax (with S100) or should I not be using NXT b/c of the mild cleaners it has?

    Thanks again!

    1. You should use a good polish first after claying, like Optimum Polish or Meguiars #80 with a polishing pad.
    2. I'd go with Jeff's Werkstatt's Prime over AIO, similar acrylic product, much newer (nano) technology. www.jeffswerkstatt.com You can either use a polishing pad or the blue Propel finishing pad.
    3. Are you talking about the LC variable contour pads? Same color for each level of aggressiveness applies as with their flat pads.
    4. Don't worry about the 'cleaners' in NXT, they are extremely mild and only meant to help prep the surface for better bonding.
    5. S100 works fine over NXT, however, let NXT cure for 24 hours before topping it.

Thanks for the quick responses, Scott!

    2. Can you tell me more about why you like Jeff Werkstatt's Prime over the others? Whats the advantage of nano technology vs standard products?
I noticed recently that you've been recommending them so you must of noticed something in particular that you liked.

    3. About the pads, yes they are the contour pads in differnet colors. Should I stick with them or perhaps purchase flat pads? is LC is good product, or do you recommend other branded pads?

    Thanks again for your time.

    2. Prime has a noticably wetter look than AIO does. Not sure how much the nano-particles have to do with that though, hit up his website, lots of information there.

    3. If you like the pads, stick with them. Meguiars and Propel are also excellent. Wouldn't hurt to try a few and see which you like best.

Should PRIME be sealed, like Klasse (AIO -> SG)?

Thanks once again for your help :bigthumb:

You can seal Prime with Acrylic Jett, or top with a carnauba, like their Carnauba Jett.
