These Mac computers support 802.11n in the new AirPort Extreme Base Station using the included enabler software:

    * iMac with Intel Core 2 Duo (except 17-inch, 1.83GHz iMac)
    * MacBook with Intel Core 2 Duo
    * MacBook Pro with Intel Core 2 Duo
    * Mac Pro with AirPort Extreme card option

Also, as far as I can tell, they aren't going to update the Draft-N cards over Software Update, only through the disc that comes with the new Airport Extreme. I hope that is not the case, but currently, that's what I'm reading.

The cards changed between the C1D and C2D machines.

    what the fuck...

can I replace the card thats in my macbook pro? if my macbook pro can't do N when it comes out (btw this is not real N, its draft-N, real N won't be out untill 2008. In some tests, certain wireless g outperformed draft-N routers in speed and range) then I'm going to fil out, sell it and buy a core 2 duo.

i also have a question about the router.... can you plug a usb hub up to the up port, and serve multiple hard drives or printers???

id like to share printers + HDDs from my wireless hot spot in my house, and this router seems like a nice way to do that.

Umm, you more than likely *could* but I don't know how difficult it would be, and you would have to get a Apple pre-N card, which might be difficult to get.

    "Do everything.

What if you’d like to exchange files over your wireless network and still have access to a network printer? Easy. Just connect a USB hub to AirPort Extreme and attach your devices to the hub. Share both a printer and a hard drive, multiple printers, or multiple hard drives."
