Titile says it all.
Hell yeah it's worth it. Especially when you have no choice but to wash in the sun. Also I"ve read a lot of people during the east coast winters wash their cars inside their garage.
If you are a mobile detailer though I would say it's mandatory.
Absolutely. Fastest way to properly wash a car I've found. In addition, you do not violate the groundwater act in California since you use less than two gallons of water-no need to contain and recycle the water.
i had to drive an hour to get some around here... really jusst wanted to go for a drive. First time tried it out. awesome. Still leary of using it on a really filthy car though. Time will tell!
Have you tried using the product on a really filfthy car before? How were the results? Any techniques you suggest?
I keep trying to buy it, but it keeps charging me for 2 instead of one.
They're doing a 2 for 1 deal here. I assume that's where you're trying to buy it.
When I add it to my car the bill comes up to be $20
Now it's showing up as $10
Fuck they don't take amx
Very nice! Did you do any pre-rinse or anything different from the instructions on the bottle? I used it for the first time today and ended up changing my "clean bucket" midway once through the wash because it seemed too dirty. But other than that, QEW is an amazing product. I'm very impressed.
EDIT - I should mention I used 2 buckets. One with just clean water and the 2nd with the QEW solution.
How can they not take AMX? Damn it I need to find a way to get this.
fridexter-one bucket method. No pre-spraying, etc. Once you start adding all the extras, it no longer becomes quick and easy.
I'll try the one bucket method next time. I was also wondering if you can just start polishing and waxing right after?
Of course, just like with conventional washing.
very true, ive done the 2 buckets, add qd, pre-spray w/ qew and water mix and it takes the same time as a conventional wash, i just recently started using one bucket and im getting no marring at all, dont know how it works, but it does
What are you using as a wash mit? A MF? Sheep skin mit??
Ive found that a plush mf towel works well for me, get it as wet as a washcloth and fold it in half twice. then go over the panel, turning when it gets dirty, then rinse it and put it in the qew mix and blot dry w/ a WW mf towel and then wipe dry w/ another plush mf
How does QEW compare to Armorall Power Wash Gel....is it similar?
qew is far and away better, if i remember correctly, the directions on power wash gel would more than likely lead to scratches swirls, and then you have to dry after you wash, using qew you are washing then drying immediatly after so it goes really quickly. stay away from the armor all gel, ive never heard anything good about it
