    :werd: that was my vote. Or if you consider a jeep an SUV, those were produced back during WW1 so even before that. :bigthumb:

    how many need to be built to techinally be mass produced? i coulda sworn there were a ton of jeeps being used during ww2

    willy's jeeps were being used, but I wouldn't consider those "SUV's". Even the modern Wrangler isn't considered an SUV by anyone I know

    the modern wrangler is most definitely an SUV unless it is taken out of stock/street configuration. Then I no longer view it as an SUV.

    Nice on the date. I'm impressed. I wasn't aware of many "large" SUV type vehicles before then, but maybe I was off a decade or two. :dunno:
