PWO Nutrition Timing..

    I know that rule of thumb is whey 15-30min after workout, then a protein filled meal an hour after workout..

    How strict is that timing? What if whey immediately after workout, and full meal 30 minutes after? Any negative effects?

    I think the consensus was that your shake of whey with high glycemic carbs immidiatly post workout. THen you have according to berardi or mcdonald one of those two up to a 2 hour window after your workout to get whole food in.

    So anywhere between immediately and 2 hours is fine?

    for the meal itself 2 hours is fine, but the shake ASAP
