The reason everyone has them is because they look damn good!

    That they do.

How do you like the Power Slots? Did you get the cryo-treated ones?

I didnt notice much of a difference to be honest; however, I have a feeling my pads are going to wear a little faster with slotted rotors.

    +1, the E46 is beautiful.

Even though I really like the E9x, I would have to say the E46 and E39 are my two favorite BMW generations in terms of timeless designs.

Like I said, your rims are hot, I think all you need is a really small drop; something to get your tires a little closer to the fender, and your car would be set in terms of aesthetics.

Thanks for the kind words about the car. The last BMW I had was an 89 325is and as much as I loved the car, this is on another level.

I plan on the eibach pro kit and then a couple little cosmetic updates including new badging as mine are worn out and perhaps a CSL bootlid.

My experience is that the slots wear the pads faster at first, until the edges of the slots are ground down to exactly the same level. After that, though, the slots just sit there and channel away water and brake dust, keeping the pads nice and clean -- much like the cross-drill patterns on motorcycle discs.

I like them. I was asking about yours because my EBC rotors have three wide slots, and they make a distinct thrumming noise almost like an exhaust brake on a truck (but not as loud) when I stop hard, so I was curious if you heard anything noticeable from yours.

EDIT: Also, I think you're running yours backwards -- but if they had L and R stamped on them, then do what the rotors say.

    VM reps?

i have CSL fronts and ZCP rears, since the ZCPs are the exact same, but the CSLs are .5" wider up front than the ZCPs.

Hmmm, I'm not sure about best, but they're certainly one of the best. I think Volk TE37/CE28N, Advan RS, and BBS LM/CH look slightly better on the E46.

TE37(I prefer them in the Time Attack finish on a white M3; also look at that rear concavity!):

Looks are totally subjective, but I wanna know what you think is wrong with them. I personally like them because they have a clean and simple design, while also being lightweight and strong.
