    Alumagrips are nice...the slim ones feel good to me.

    i didnt get the slim ones and they still feel awesome. so much better than the stock wood or plastic grips.

    Why not? The GI is a reliable no frills 1911 right out of the box.

    Cool, but im more a wood grips lookin guy. I think a nice pair of good grained wood grips complements any 1911. MM MMMMM good.

    it is not a GI. it is a mil-spec.
