    First impression...

Agressive looking gun, When you rent it people gawk and stare. Its like John Holmes walked onto the porno set. You whip it out and Wham! it is big and with its movie inspired looks gets respect. People will stop shooting just to see the 3 foot muzzle flash.

And those are all of the nice things I can say about it.

This gun is akward, cumbersome, and poorly laid out.

The clip cannot go right in, you have to push it in 3/4 of the way and then ease it in the rest of the way. The grip is too large for anyone under 7'0 tall. You have to have hands like Shaq to shoot it. Accuracy is fair. But the problem with that is with such power it is hard to get off two shots in a row. No way in hell could someone use this weapon with one hand, so forget the Matrix bullshit you see in the movies.

    On a scale of 1-10 I rate it a 4. :hs:

Anyone else shoot one before? What did you think?

My friend bought one. Shot it, sold it as soon as he could. He said out of all the guns he's fired, it was by far the worst.

The fact that you've got "Replica" written down the side of your gun. And the fact that I've got "Desert Eagle point five O" written on the side of mine, should precipitate your balls into shrinking, along with your presence. Now... Fuck off!

Its too much of a gun to be practical. My friend has a .44 Magnum and thats stressful enough shooting.

I hate the DE .50 its just an extremely cumbersome gun.

I can handle the size of it. But the firing action is just complete bullshit.
With the rigid barell design, and the firing chamber being attatched to teh stock, it slaps your palm like a mother fucker.

Like you said, lining up two shots in succession withen a foot of each other is way more difficult then it should be.

I personally wasnt to impressed by it.
But like you said, its more of a showpiece then it is a practicle firearm.

    Yes I've fired one.

Very inaccurate, although it's really, really fun just to shoot. I would not use it for anything other than fun/collection piece. Bad self-defense weapon.

I suppose if you practiced enough with one to the point that you could fire it accurately, it would be great because all you would need is one shot. Personally, I'd rather have a .44 magnum with an 8 inch barrel.

I am a pretty solid dude, 6foot 250 LBS. And I though the same thing. But it wasnt as bad as my buddy had me believe.

I would not have shot it at all, except it was a free rental with the amount of ammo I purchased.

they are very cool guns in their own right. it's kind of like driving a top fuel dragster on the highway.

I will tell you that I will never buy one of these. Right now I am really liking almost anything Kimber makes. IBmorehaters :hs:

but i mean, with DE .50, one shot is enough, right? :bigthumb:

yeah, i do understand that it would make a crappy tactical weapon.

I shot the .44 mag DE lots, I thought it was kinda fun. Never shot the .50, nobody here wants to buy one. I think I'd like to get my hands on a .357 mag DE sometime in the future :big grin:

Yeah, It would be shitty for even home defense. In the dark you would blind yourself with the muzzle flash. :o

It was not so much my shoulders were sore, as the joint where my thumb meets the palm. It jammed once on me, but the guy at the range let me know that if you push up on the clip from the bottom it forces the rounds into the chamber too high. After I stopper doing this and was a little more relaxed I was fine. I was too tense when I started to shoot.

I wish it had an auto loader like my glock. Pushing the bullets in is always the worst.
