do any of you incorporate pushups into your chest days?
i do chest and abs on the same day so I'll throw in some pushups between my abworkoutsat the end of the workout when I'm doing them on the mat. I like them because they really get the blood flowing for me
i usually warm up with them cause of that
i do the pushup-plus at home for serratus activation
i do em at night along with other bodyweight shit.
at the top of the pushup you protract your shoulder blades
i just do them at lacrosse cuz coach says to. i usually dont encorporate em into my regular routine
I do single arm ones or the ones with the chains....or used to at least.
i don't know what protract is, so I'm going to guess kind of like a shrugging motion to work your traps?
no, it's the opposite of squeezing your shoulder blades together
do them to prepare for military pt tests
hah yea that makes more sense since you're contracting your chest.
