Pushed myself a little too far today

    Well, I've only been working out for 2 weeks, but today I was in a great mood and pushed a little too much. I did a great weight lifting routine, and jumped on a bike for 7 miles, the elliptical for 5 miles, and then i hit the stair climber. Well, I entered 10 minutes and started trucking up those stairs. After about 5 minutes, I started feeling kinda wobbly, but i kept goin. Hit 7 minutes and could not catch my breath. I was dripping, and I mean dripping in sweat. I hit the stop button and staggered outside. Made to my SUV and threw up everywhere. I caught my breath after about 10 minutes or so. Guess I need to take it down a notch.

    Could have been, not sure. I feel great right now,but yeah I went a little to far.

    Probably dehidrated. Were you drinking enough water while you were dripping with sweat?

    i puked a lot when i started working out again because I just did it with the same intensity I had done wrestling workouts.

    Keep it up. I remember when I first started and was lifting with guys who were bigger than myself and had been doing it. I puked a couple of times, but I can't think of anything more motivating. I also yaked from doing an ab workout in the start.

    I remember after a couple months of lifting I tried doing 225lbs for 5 x 5 deadlifts and I had zero conditioning at that point so I felt extremely winded and nauseous for 20 mins.. then I burped a lot and felt better.

    i went running the other day, about 4km, middle of the day. was really pacing, got to a shop, bought a litre of water, downed it then threw most of it up 10min later. felt awesome. too much water, thats all. i didnt run home though, just took it quietly.

    leg days are the most draining, but also my favourite at present.
