Everday other day I do a ladder type exercise..10 up and 10 down.

I do pushups, crunches, and lower leg lifts.

After about a year and a half of doing this, my wrists are starting to hurt from the pushups.

I am fit and do work out / exercise regularly.

Any tips on how to avoid my wrists hurting when I do push ups?

    Do them on knuckles?

    Wear wrist brace?

    Thanks!

this would work, as long as the handles are padded...

Another thing to consider is getting some kind of padding for your hands be it wrist wraps or just putting a small pillow under each hand. You could do them on your knuckles, but I'd only do that if you're got the padding
