what are your guys' experiences with said supps. im looking to supplement BCAAs into my diet.
i really like xtend, it helps with recovery/soreness and the watermelon flavor is pretty good
if you go with Xtend dont buy lemonade. Tastes like Arse.
I have xtend and really don't notice any difference in soreness whatsoever, and the grape tastes kinda mediciney.
The "new" orange doesn't mix all that great compared to grape and watermelon. And it tastes almost like it's mixed with Vaso/Primal ... weird.
Me likey da xtend
also extend is bcaa purple wraath is eaa
why buy complete bcaa if you can get leucine for cheaper then?
I drink Xtend during my work out.
I've tried grape, lemonaide, and watermelon.
I prefer watermelon, but if you don't have a vagina, grape and lemonaide are tollerable.
I tried a sample of PW and it tasted like grape flavored ass.
If I want BCAA's I'll stick to capsules.
I like Xtend but purple wraath is the most godawful tasting dogshit on the planet.
Ahahaha I remember when I posted that my PW sample tasted like shit someone had blasted me for it.
grape xtend doesn't taste bad, but i wouldn't drink it just for the taste
PW tastes like poops, but gives you a nice itchy feeling.
I think I've tried all Xtend flavors. They all taste OK. I think watermelon is the best.
any input aside from taste? i can practically eat dogshit so if it helps, i'll take it, however it tastes like.
but i gather, despite the fact that PW is more EAAs, it has the same amount of BCAA's as Xtend, amiright?
12g of purple wraath powder contains a total of 7g EAA split amongst 9 different amino acids (3 of which are BCAA). Don't know the amounts of the individual AA.
13g of xtend contains 7g of BCAA only (3.5g leucine, 1.8g isoleucine, 1.8g valine)
can u elaborate on this ie differences in effects/benefits
Essential amino acids are all of the parts of protein that you body needs but cannot synthesize. BCAA are 3 specific EAA that have been shown to be most directly related to muscle hypertrophy. Every complete protein source, like meat, eggs, and whey, contain all of the EAA including all 3 BCAA. The difference with these products are that the amino acids are provided free-form, meaning that the body does not have to break down the proteins in the digestion process before they are available to use.
Why does orange Xtend cost the least? Cost of flavoring? Maybe this question is more for 1Fast400.
there's a WF+PW stack on bodybuilding.com for 86 bucks
i think i might have my hand at that
The Orange isn't mixing right for me. Every sip has a white cluster of power in it. Tastes like kicked up Tang. BAM!!
I went into GNC before I hit the gym yesterday and asked the beta at the counter if they carried Xtend. He says, "I'll be with you in 1 minute!" 5 minutes later he opens up a glass case and hands me something called Extenze (a penis enlarging supplement or something) and gives me a weird smile. I said, "I'm actually looking for Xtend, it's a BCAA supplement." He asks me if I saw it on the website and I tell him I just heard about it. Then he yells at me that just because I heard about it doesn't mean that GNC carries it. I was like and just kind of stared at him for a minute and he got embarrassed and apologized for his outburst. Anyway, is this stuff only available online?
What the fuck are you doing going to GNC anyway?
lol @ GNC
