Pure Protein is one of my favs.

I prefer Smores, but Peanut Butter and Blueberry cake is good too. You can get the small bars in Walmart for 88 cents.

I don't usually like the fruit flavored protein bars, but got that one by accident.
Glad I did, cause it was

Didn't really care for the Strawberry Shortcake one, though.

    But it's only 2g sugar.

    That's the "bad carbs," no?

And the overall fat calories are better and easier to put in my bag...

I use them as a snack (especially when I'm trying to cut). Under 200 cal, so I don't use them as a meal replacement. If I do have one as a meal replacement, I go for 30+ gram protein ones with more calories.

    no supreme bar no care

    330cal
    12g fat
    30g protein isolate
30 carbs but 26 are no impact

figures might be a little off but close enough... by far the best tasting bar IMHO and ive tried pretty much everyone in every flavor

Because 4tbsps of PB has over 30g's fat which might not be ideal for everyone as a "snack".

    Ingredients:
Protein Blend (Hydrolyzed Collagen, Whey Protein Isolate, Whey Protein Hydrolysate, Milk Protein Isolate, Calcium Caseinate), Coating (Sugar, Palm Kernel Oil, Cocoa [processed with alkali], Whey Powder, Soy Lecithin, Salt), Glycerine, Water, Soy Protein Rice Crisps (Soy Protein Isolate, Rice Flour, Malt Extract), Dry Roasted Peanuts, Maltitol, Peanut Flour, Natural and Artificial Flavor, Chocolate Flavored Chips, (Lactitol, Chocolate Liquor, Cocoa Butter, Soy Lecithin, Vanilla, Acesulfame K), Cocoa Soy Pieces (Soy Protein Isolate, Rice Flour, Sugar Cocoa, Artificial Flavor), Honey, Calcium Carbonate, Sorbitol, Vitamin and Mineral Blend (Ascorbic Acid, Tricalcium Phosphate, d-Alpha-Tocopheryl Acetate, Niacinamide, Zinc Oxide, Copper Gluconate, Calcium d-Pantothenate, Retinyl Palmitate, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid, Biotin, Potassium Iodide, Cyanocobalamin), Salt, Sucralose, Potasisum Sorbate (preservative).

Collagen is a crappy protein source, not very bioavailable, and it's the primary. Sugar and Maltitol? What's the point of sugar and sugar alcohols, lol. I wouldn't eat it. Grab a shaker and an MRP.

    Hydrolyzed Collagen

    DESCRIPTION
Hydrolyzed collagen refers to enzymatically or chemically processed collagen, which is mainly derived from bovine, ox and pig skin and bone. Hydrolyzed collagen consists of water-soluble peptides of various molecular weights. These peptides are rich in the amino acids found in collagen, including glycine, L-proline and L-hydroxyproline. Nutritional supplements containing hydrolyzed collagen are marketed for bone and joint health purposes. Hydrolyzed collagen and gelatin hydrolysates are similar

    :eek3:

I track what I eat, but not to that extent.

I have a couple a week along with protein shakes, lean meat, veggies, and so on. Don't really think it's going make that big of a difference in the long run.

ive only tried the orange packaging ( caramal choc i believe) and i just found out they have different flavors. I GUARANTEE you that its the best tasting bar hands down. Oh Yeah! bars are the top selling bars because theyve been around for awhile but supreme is in second and they havent been around that long at all. They passed up detour in no time in sales.

Oh yeahs are really good. But it's too much sweetness for me. My favorite all time protein candy bars are White Chocolate, Peanut Butter, and grahm cracker muscle sandwiches. http://www.musclesandwich.com/

I've yet to try the Muscle Milk protein candy bars.

Like the Chocolate Peanut Butter, I can't tell it's a protein bar.
