My sister wants some more RAM, she has a pretty shit comp. with only 128MB. If I buy 512MB does it matter what the memory speed, number of pins, or CAD latency is or are they all compatible?

If she's got 128mb now, it's probably going to be PC100. Open her case and see how many slots her mobo has. Some computers require memory be installed in pairs.

A single 512mb, PC133 DIMM should work fine.
