Hey guys, my girlfriend and I have been looking for a Smith and Wesson Lady smith for her, but the local shops are asking a lot for one, so I was pondering the idea of buying online, like Gunbroker or Impact Guns. Has anyone had any experience with either one of these places?

Make sure you find a shop that's willing to do the transfer before you buy. A lot of shops won't do transfers at all if they have the gun for sale.

I'd MUCH rather pay tax than shipping and FFL fees.

Yeah, shipping and FFL fees are going to add up fast. I'll probably keep shopping around. A gun show is coming to SF in September, maybe I'll get lucky there.

Impact is hit or miss with there prices they do have a few decently priced guns but they also have alot that are overpriced, gunbroker is rare to find good deals, may wanna shop around on some of the gun forums for sale sections, arfcom has a pretty extensive for sale area with lots of great deals.
