Just as the title says, purchased a 04 Civic EX with Focal front and back speakers. The K2 components up front are missing the crossover, so its split wired to the tweeter/mid. Is there any way of purchasing just the crossover?

i say first try calling up focal and seeing what they have to say. i see no reason why anyone would have an extra crossover laying around, but you may get lucky :dunno:

if you can't get the crossovers run a 4 channel amp and connect a channel to each midbass and a channel to each tweeter.. its an even better way of doing it..

Uh....do the tweeters still work? If they do being wired to full range and all, I'd be amazed.

hes talking about running the components fully active. IMO a much better sound, but you need to have a basic understanding of crossovers.

if your amp doesn't have good crossovers, or even if it does i would recommend getting an external crossover and then switching the amp one off.

This is a very good budget crossover:

Use that + a good 4 channel amp that does at least around 100x4

Once you get the crossover set right you will get better sound than using that passive crossover from focal any day of the week.

    I guess I misinterpreted

I'll agree with everything except buying from a non-authorized internet dealer. With all the knock off/b-stock/stolen stuff on the market today, there is no way I'd ever chance it...especially not with higher end speakers like Focal....what if the x-over is a knock off that doesn't work and sends the bass signal to the tweeters? If that happens he is out not only a x-over but also some decent tweeters.
