fuck i wish i wouldn't have sold my wii. i won't buy one again though, i made that mistake with mario kart.
Yeah, buying a Wii for Mario Kart is/was a mistake.
worst version ever. double dash was 11ty times more fun. punch out is gonna kick ass
That video needs a "Nigga stole my bike" scene.
I agree, I thought double dash was fun as shit. I still think the n64 one was the best though
makes me wish I had a wii. Might chance it on the wii emulator though
My wife's B-day is next month and she's been wanting the the Wii Fit anyway. I think I'll have to buy this little nugget with it! Win motherfuckin win situation.
DS Version is FTW
Snaking is so
Great commercial though, ton of references to the original.

I was just looking at this weeks Best Buy ad.....pretty surprised that theres no mention of this game considering it comes out Tuesday. You'd think they'd be pimping the hell out of it. Instead, they've got Don King's Boxing advertised for Wii.....must be an oversight or something...or maybe the company that made that Don King game paid them insane amounts of cash to advertise their game and NOT Punch Out.
Has anyone played this yet?
Still no NTSC leak.
was released today.. gotta give wii crew time.
Yeah I know! I just figured there were a couple die hards that already broke it in!
Will pick it up tomorrow most likely.
Any OT'er opinions yet?
NTSC release is up online.
Game is great so far, just like the classic. I didn't even try motion controls, went straight to classic style.
I bought this game today.
Unfortunately, I've yet to play it!
Finally used my BB gift certificate from xmas. The game is a bit boring at first since they want you to get accustomed to the gameplay, but the opponents get more interesting as you go along. If you have trouble with an opponent you can fight him in the simulation portion. Once you beat him in the campaign he is no longer "simulated" but instead has unlocked challenges for you to beat. Maybe it's just me, but they seem more difficult once unlocked. You can do split-screen 2P but haven't tried it yet. Then there's, uh, wait that's the whole game right there.
It's plagued with typical Nintendo-itis: crappy music that you can't turn off, inconsistent menus, required to use the IR "mouse" in the menus to click on tiny icons rather than have d-pad/button support, annoying repetitive voice-overs, etc. Besides that and my hand cramping from holding this controller as if I'm playing with a Snickers bar I actually enjoy the game. One review mentioned lack of Classic Controller support; I don't see why unless they meant the menus.
the bomb battles in double dash alone make it better than any other version.
