pulling all nighters

    so i need to pull a couple all nighters - kind of a lot, based on the course load this semester - anyone know any good energy drinks? preferably that DON'T taste bad?

    word dude... monster is pretty good, rockstar is ok... i think redbull is probably best, especially sugarfree because then you don't get that sweet taste you just get the sour sweet-tarts-resembling flavor.

    then again I enjoyed the smell of gasoline, cigarettes, and paint as a child.... my judgement might not be the best :mamoru:

    I drink whatevers cheapest, they really do all the same for me. Jones Soda is 3.99/4 pack at walmart. Blue Streak is 5.50 at bloom/food lion. Otherwise I norm get sobe adrenaline rush.

    I rarely drink them though :o . I prefer amp by mtn dew...They're kinda expensive.

    Plus I don't know if they're that good for you

    Funny, I am actually pulling an all-nighter right now. Just about 7am at the moment.

    For me, 5 hour energy works the best. Second to that woud be full-throttle or Monster no-carb energy drinks.

    I usually just stick with coffee though.... and if i'm in desperate need of energy I will go with 5hour energy.

    All nighters usually mean that you're fucking around up until near exam time. Knock it off and pace yourself and this won't be a problem.

    If you're studying, don't do all nighters you're just tired and dumb.

    If you're like me and put off tons of papers till the last week, just go for it. coffee and get up and take a walk when you get tired!

    I work night shift every week-end so I do 24h without sleep twice a week :eek3: I only have been doing this for 2 weeks but I can't wait til I get a day shift already. I usually slept 8-10 h/night but surprisingly, I often have trouble being able to sleep after 24h, after being tired, I get all hyped, and this cycle happens 2-3 times in the 24h window. Weird.

    This all-nighter is kicking my ass now :wtc:

    I was dead tired a couple hours ago so I had a huge meal and took a 5hour energy and now I have nausea and feel like crap.
    This totally fucking backfired on me, lol.
    I did this so that I could get a sleep schedule (to help me stay healthy) and so I could get tons of stuff done.

    Yet now I feel sick and feel to shitty to go out and get any of that stuff done :rofl:

    I wanna hit the sack for a while, but that 5hour energy is preventing such things.

    We're in the top 5 for toughest workload in the country. Besides plenty of all-nighters freshman year, the LEAST amount of sleep I've gotten since then is 4 hours.

    There's a point of diminishing returns when sleep deprived.

    Mine is 2:30 AM. I will stop then, and only continue after I sleep.



    Just don't fuck around really. Eph/Caff keeps me going when I'm crashing.

    Never done adderall. Never needed to.
