Pulled or Torn Bicep, HELP

    Pulled Bicep, HELP REVISED

    EDIT : READ POST 17.


    I was doing drop set at the end of my workout today, I got down to 65 lbs on the preacher curls and on my 6th rep I went to low I guess. I pulled something i dropped the weight right away before it did more damage, it hurts now, holding my 1/2 gallon bottle of bcca's half filled hurt. Now its not to bad, i can feel it still hurting though when I move around and typing. I need to know ice or heat for now, if it hurts in the morning i might visit my freind whos a sport doc.

    Soooo ICE OR HEAT.

    11pm at night, doesnt hurt enough to go to the doctor. Thats why im asking what to do for now. If it hurts in the am or bad bruised I will go to a doctor. Heat or Ice? I wanta put something on it bro

    I hurt something right there and it took me years to recover completely, I have no idea what I did.

    Once the pain wasn't piercing the best medicine turned out to be 12+ reps with lighter weight and hammer curls.

    A update, it was red, I been icing, just woke up , it went away. Its sore when I massage the area. Im moving my routine around this week, Im going to test out supporting action working my back Saturday. If it is cool, I will continue with light bicep and tri training Sunday. Hopefully I can go back to my normal routine next week when Im training out in Co Springs.

    Take it easy man don't aggrivate it. Like I said, I hurt something there and it hurt for a looonnngg time. If I went heavy it would come back with a vengance.

    Now I'm okay and it feels 100% great again though. :x:

    One of my training partners tore his bicep doing full ROM preacher curls back when he was a BB'er. He advocates not going all the way down for that reason.

    he then tore the other one pulling 700+ iirc....maybe he jsut has weak biceps attachments....

    How long is this shit supose to be sore like this . I took a week off. Felt great, went in this week, im out training in CO. I set PR's on my incline, flat, and dips. I went to help load some weights onto a guys leg , when I curled up the 55 lbs I felt the pain in the exact same spot. I went to finish up my flys and it was starting to hurt again. Now strenching my arm 100% straight I can feel it , feels like a pulled muscle. Is this normal. Im planning on taking some more time off again I guess.

    I'd take some time off. Its what i'm doing for whatever it is in my groin I hurt squatting (hip flexor?), when I think its healed, I lift and it aggravates it again then I have to keep waiting.

    i slap my biceps when i work them out (heavy sets only) so blood rushes into them.

    acctually allot of people preping for martial arts do this to lossen up. But seriously any ideas?
